Estate Bottled
Perched up on a hilltop on our Bliss Vineyards are five
small blocks of traditional Portuguese port varietals.
Alvarelhao, Bastardo, Sausao, Tinta Cao and Touriga Fancesa
are the five black-skinned varieties that make up our
non-vintage Tawny Port. Our 'solera'-style blend offers
each bottle both complex maturity and the perfume of youth.

2005 Merlot Mistelle, Bliss Vineyards
Estate Bottled
And a cry rose up from the land, "Make another Mistelle!"...
your wish is our command.
Beautifully ripened Bliss Vineyard block #6 Merlot was
crushed then soaked for three days to extract soft, chocolate/cherry
flavors and generate a rose blush. A fermentation was
initiated, followed by a quick pressing, blended with
grape spirits and barreled in French oak for 10 months
to produce this classic dessert wine. A taste of nectar
from the Merlot vineyards of Brutocao for you!
